MOTIONVR IS TRULY COMPUTERIZED DYNAMIC POSTUROGRAPHY (CDP) AND MOTION SIMULATOR FOR ALL PLANES OF MOTION...

MotionVR is truly Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) and motion simulator for all planes of motion and above all, it is the responsiveness of the force plate to easily switch from smooth to unpredictable movements. (...) what it provides for my patients care is first, that it is FUN for all age groups, for quick transition from easy and basic treatment to very complex and challenging rehab for younger, athletic and fit patients. (...) It also enables to shorten the number of sessions. (...) I would say: PRACTICAL TO USE, both for the therapist and for the patient. ECOLOGY, because we are going to get as close as possible to reality by immersion and by the platform's own movements or the platform's servo-control and finally : DESIGN, which is a little extra for the practice, which the patient is always sensitive to...

THE "MOTIONVR" HAS ARRIVED AND IS OPERATIONAL. IT IS A JOY! BOTH IN ITS USE AND IN ITS CAPABILITIES. ASSESSMENTS, REHABILITATION, EVERYTHING IS THERE! AN INCREDIBLE PRECISION.

"Thanks to the support of the South PACA region and European funds (FEADER), the Athena centre was able to submit a LEADER subsidy file allowing it to invest in equipment and furniture in order to launch the multi-professional practice project in Laragne-Montéglin.

When I was looking for rehabilitation equipment, I wanted to find the latest, but especially innovative equipment. During different congresses, I had the opportunity to see and try the equipment proposed by Virtualis.
At first, I discovered virtual reality and very quickly I became interested in their platform in development. I followed from afar, the evolution of their software, virtual reality hardware and especially this platform that questioned me compared to what already existed.
After several months of research and especially contacts with the Virtualis team, my choice was quickly made. I would work with them and above all, I would acquire the "MOTION VR".
In theory, its capabilities would completely change my way of working and I hoped that it would bring me a plus in my care.

Well, the "MOTION VR" is here and operational. It is a joy! As much in its use as in its capacities. Assessments, rehabilitation, everything is there! An incredible precision.
I'm not yet able to exploit its full potential. But the results are already there!
I use Virtualis' virtual reality tools for patients with balance disorders, for fall prevention. With the "MotionVR" platform, I now do posturology and I can quantify the support surfaces before and after postural reprogramming.

My patients are delighted, feel the evolution and even ask to work on it.
It is adaptable for all, the young, the old, the elderly, patients with neurological disorders, ...

And the best part is the Virtualis team, always available, weekly updates, listening to our questions and proposals, always there to help us and to make the material evolve. The best!

So a big thank you for what you will bring to my patients, my practice, and anyone else who has the opportunity to use it."

3 WORDS TO CHARACTERIZE IT [EDITOR'S NOTE: MOTIONVR]: INTUITIVE, FLUIDITY AND POSSIBILITIES

"While the health crisis has put the entire world on pause for a year now, we were privileged to receive the first Motion VR, the Computerized Dynamic Posturography and Rehab Motion Simulator .

If there's one word you can put aside when trying this platform, it's the word "disappointment".

First of all, it has a modern, unique, even futuristic design that makes you think of a (luxury) sports car with all the options, and it has many options !

The start-up is fast, the access is easy for the patient and the use of the software is intuitive.
The "MotionVR" works with or without virtual reality. There are several programs and associated assessments (SOT...), but the force plate itself allows us to move the plate on 5 axis (including the vertical axis) in 10 directions. We can setup the speed, the duration of a stationary position, the pause etc... The customization options and the ability to program the platform up to 12 degrees per axis give me the flexibility to create a variety of exercises for my patients.

No need to worry about the heavy weight of a patient, it has been designed for and the guardrail is adjustable in height to secure the tall and the small!

3 words to characterize it: intuitive, fluidity and possibilities.

The patients were all delighted with these first sessions and with the variability of the work that this Motion VR allows.

So yes, we expected it, and yes, we are happy with the result. It’s met the challenge, and to be quite honest, even better than we expected. Well done!”

VIRTUAL REALITY AS SEEN BY PR. PY. LIBOIS, NEUROLOGIST, BELGIUM

"Our initial results are really encouraging in the sense that virtual reality is bringing about significant changes in patients, not only in their ecological approach but also at the clinical level, at the analytical and functional level, we can see quite significant changes. The real idea of virtual reality is to try to "drive" brain plasticity as much as possible and to break brain codes in another reality. “

Mike Strakal, 2 Assesment & Rehabilitation Centers in Oklohoma, USA

I think, the device is phenomenal and we've completely integrated it into our Rehabilitation protocols... I have several stroke patients with severe problems... of hemiparesis, especially in the upper limb. So we used the therapy mirror and head/eye coordination exercises for them. We even have patients constantly jostling to work with them.

Since the acquisition of the platform/virtual reality pair, we have been able to carry out the following projects our clinical and rehabilitation assessments on one affordable system instead of several more expensive systems. Balance, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Post-Oncology, Motion Sickness, Neurology, Disorders Cognitive... the scope hasn't found its limits yet.

It's interesting, it will allow you to work a lot of things ... the fact that you can work some things compared to classical Optokinetics, notably "Optical Flow" which is still very Interesting. These are things we didn't have before... this "troubled" side of it that we're going to have compared to the VR... we really have extra components there, that will add to the difficulties and provide further guidance.

Optokinetic stimulation facilitating the effective engagement of the optokinetic reflex by the total field and the immediate feeling of the vection. Finally, an evaluation of the static VSL and dynamics easy and quick to integrate into all our balance sheets. Optical flow is the visual stimulation that was missing from the therapeutic arsenal of vestibular physiotherapy. A real highway simulation for Put the patient back in a real situation and in total immersion. The sway referenced available for the CTSIB (Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction and Balance) while waiting for a controlled platform. A complete pack for all forms of neurosensory disorganizations: ask for it. conflict and you will have the right visual and sound stimulation.
